A talented, athletic and physical defender who again should contend for significant playing time in the secondary in addition to possibly maintaining status as a key contributor on special teams ... Officially completed spring drills as a top reserve at strong safety, but coaches expect a battle with returning starter Chip Thompson throughout the course of the season ... Enjoyed another active spring practice period, tallying three tackles and a pass breakup in the first scrimmage (April 6) ... After collecting another trio of stops in the second matchup a week later, completed work with a two-hit effort in the Purple-Gold Game (April 20) ... Produced notable results during spring strength and conditioning testing in the vertical leap (36.0"), broad jump (119") and back squat (475 pounds) ...
