2008: Opened two of seven games played as a reserve offensive lineman and special teams member ... Made starts against Virginia (left tackle) and Marshall (right tackle) ... Sat out the first four contests before experiencing first action of the season against Houston ... Also played in two of the last three games - vs. UTEP and Kentucky in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl ... High School: A two-year starter on the offensive line for Cape Fear High School ... Selected to the All-Two Rivers Conference (first-team) as a senior ... Also garnered honors as a member of the Fayetteville Observer All-Cape Fear Region squad ... Elected as the Colts' team captain in 2005 ... In all, earned three football letters ...
