A sizable and quick defender who has rotated positions within ECU’s front seven over the last two years … Was initially a member of the Pirates’ front line before moving to outside linebacker in the spring of 2015 … Was relocated back to the line of scrimmage by new coaching staff and completed spring work vying for a spot on the two-deep at one of the end positions … Could again experience heightened role up front on various special teams squad in order to get added game-day repetitions … Has four spring seasons under his belt after reporting early in 2013 … Opened 2016 drills with a tackle in the first scrimmage (April 9) … Credited with a sack (-1 yard) during the Purple-Gold Game on April 16 … Was selected as the program's "Community Service Award" recipient at the conclusion of spring workouts … Development in the Pirates’ strength and conditioning program has remained consistent since arrival … Owns notable power lifts of 355 pounds (bench press), 485 (back squat), 294 (power clean) and 296 (push jerk) … Agility bests include a 40 time of 5.01 and a 4.56 clip in the pro shuttle.
2015: Played in three contests as a sophomore, all coming in successive weeks in late September and early October … Competed against Virginia Tech (Sept. 26), at SMU (Oct. 3) and at BYU (Oct. 10) … Recorded a quarterback pressure against Mustangs during the Pirates’ 49-23 American Athletic Conference victory in Dallas … Did not record any tackles.
2014: Did not experience game-day action during first active season on ECU roster … Continued role as a scout team performer for the majority of redshirt freshman campaign. 2013: Redshirted during true freshman season and played key scout team role preparing the Pirate offensive unit on a weekly basis … Officially enrolled early at ECU (January) and was able to participate in spring drills to get an early start on the acclimation process.

Helped FUMA to a 6-3 record in 2012 and played a key role for a defense that posted one shutout (against the junior varsity squad of Bethany College) ...
