Sharp Passing Effort, Physical Play Dominate Second Scrimmage

Will open final collegiate season looking to regain a more prominent pass catching role in addition to maintaining prime kickoff return status ... Completed the spring practice period and off-season listed as the unit's No. 1 "Z" (outside) receiver, potentially replacing departed senior Andrew Bodenheimer ... A skill performer who brings a high level of athleticism, speed and excitement to the game, but who has also experienced both the highs and lows of a career in a short timeframe ... Hopes to offer some consistency as a viable weapon in ECU's offensive scheme and on special teams after losing visibility down the stretch as a junior... Did not record any catches during the first spring scrimmage on April 6 ... Bounced back to make two grabs for seven yards in the second matchup before cashing in a 21-yard catch for a touchdown during the Purple-Gold Game ... Stands atop the strength and conditioning program's spring testing results, earning "freak" status on coach Jeff Connors' rating scale ...
