Reporting Day: 2012 Preseason Camp Opens For Pirates

East Carolina Returns 15 Starters, 48 Lettermen

Hopes to renew battle with top returning punter Trent Tignor during preseason camp after inactive junior campaign ... Did provide special teams coaching staff with peace of mind from a depth standpoint considering his impressive junior college career ... Was a late spring signee in 2012 who officially enrolled at East Carolina at the start of the second summer semester and immediately began off-season workouts with the Pirates' strength and conditioning program ... The 2013 campaign will mark his final year of eligibility after a three-year junior college career (redshirted as a true freshman in 2009) ... Punted only once during the Purple-Gold Game and made it count for 50 yards.
