Expected to fully bounce back from a right index finger injury (and subsequent surgery) suffered during the third week of spring drills (April 4) that forced him out of action for the remainder of the practice period ... Was in the midst of another strong spring campaign, taking the majority of snaps with the No. 1 unit before the injury occurred ... Was able to compete in the program's initial scrimmage on March 31, completing three-of-five passes for 21 yards and leading unit to scoring opportunities in both possessions played ...
