Pirates Open Second Week Of Drills In Shells

Complemented a strong freshman season finish with an impressive spring to vault into a projected starter's role at the field end position as a sophomore, but is again expected to compete with classmate Terrell Stanley on a week-by-week basis for a second-straight campaign ... Could also be utilized in a special teams role, depending on level of defensive assignment ... A sizeable, strong and mobile young talent whose development and growth, both on the field and in the strength and conditioning program, have unlimited potential according to coaching staff ... Tallied three tackles in the spring's first scrimmage on April 6 ... Posted five stops, which included three for lost yardage and a pair of sacks, during the second contest before wrapping up the action by netting a trio of hits during the Purple-Gold Game (April 20) ...
