Today I woke up to one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever witnessed. The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing, and to be able to watch the sun come up from behind Diamondhead Volcano, I was simply awe-struck. After this brief lost in the moment type of start, I headed to breakfast with the rest of the team. A quick bite later and we were on the road to Aloha Stadium for practice.
Practice was good. We got a good bit of work done today and in just about every type of weather. At first it was sunny, then every ten minutes or so it would start to rain out of no where. It did this three or four times throughout practice, but the rain was more like a mist, so it was quite nice. After practice, we headed back to the hotel and had a bit of free-time.
During this free-time Fred Wilson, Coach Holtz, and I had the annual press conference with Coach Peterson and two players from Boise State. It was hard to pay attention to the questions due to the outstanding view from the 30th floor! It was neat to meet the opponent see a little more than what the film study has shown us.
Well I need to head to position meetings, many fun events to follow. Aloha.
