GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina University's official cable station, ECU-TV (cable channel 99 Sudden Link Communications) presents Football Week beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday August 27th.

During this week, the station will replay six classic Pirate football games and rare footage.

"We have always enjoyed replaying football games on ECU-TV," said station Director Bryan Edge. "And what better time to watch these classics than the week before the Pirates season opener with Navy?"

Edge says that ECU-TV's popularity with the alumni continues to grow. "Thanks to the generous donations of DVD's and tapes to ECU-TV, we are able to replay these memories. Now the youngest to the oldest Pirate can enjoy these great games."

It all begins August 27 at 7 p.m. Sunday night on ECU-TV.
