PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - The East Carolina men's golf team closed out the 2014 Sea Best Invitational by posting the lowest round of the day, and second-lowest of the tournament, to finish in seventh-place at the THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The Pirates carded a three-round score of 55-over 919, but moved up five spots in the final standings after entering Tuesday in 12th-place.

North Florida and Liberty tied atop the team standings at 22-over 886 followed by Texas A&M (+36), Tennessee (+40) and USC Upstate (+51). UNF's Austin Padova and Greg Yates of Texas A&M tied for medalist honors at par-216.
