Final Round Of The Seahawk Intercollegiate Cancelled

WILMINGTON, N.C -- The third and final round of the Seahawk Intercollegiate has been cancelled to inclement weather conditions. Due to the cancellation, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes.

East Carolina finished in 11th place at 34-over par, 610 (298-312). Sophomore Wes Conover finished the tournament in the top-30 of the 78-player field. Conover recorded 5-over par, 149 (72-77) to card a tie for 29th place.

Ryan Eibner fired 8-over par, 152 (73-79) to tie for 38th place.

Will Starke of South Carolina won the individual title at 7-under par, 137 (64-73) and the 25th-ranked Gamecocks took home the team title at 16-under par, 560 (278-282).

The Pirates return to action on April 5-6 at the Irish Creek Collegiate in Kannapolis, N.C.
