KANNAPOLIS, N.C. --- East Carolina had two golfers finish inside the top 25 of the individual standings Sunday and the Pirates finished 14th after a final round 295 dropped the team to 34-over 886 at the Irish Creek Collegiate held at The Club at Irish Creek.

Juniors Eric Brady and Ryan Eibner paced the Pirates, both shooting 5-over 218 over 54 holes to finish amongst a six-way tie for 23rd. Brady led the squad on the final day with a 1-over 72. He carded rounds of 74 and 72 Saturday before he duplicated his second round performance in round three. Eibner carded a 4-over 75 in the final round after posting scores of 71 and 72 in rounds one and two Saturday.

Senior Zach Edmondson finished tied for 62nd overall at 13-over 226 (70-78-78), shooting 7-over Sunday with freshman George Kilgore coming in tied for 64th with rounds of 77, 77 and 73 for a two-day total of 14-over 227.

North Carolina finished at 7-over 859 to claim the team championship by two strokes over second-place North Carolina State with a 9-over 861. Kennesaw State and host Charlotte finished tied for third with matching scores of 14-over 866. Davidson and UNC Wilmington tied for fifth-place at 17-over 869.

Jimmy Beck of Kennesaw State posted a 3-under 68 in the final round to overtake the field and claim individual medalist honors with an 8-under 205. Beck finished one stroke ahead of Charlotte's Franco Castro in the runner-up position at 7-under 206 with North Carolina's Michael McGowan capturing third-place at 2-under 211 followed by five others tied for fourth at 1-under 210.
