CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. --- The first round of the Cavalier Classic was suspended due to darkness Saturday evening after a weather delay forced the teams off the Birdwood Golf Course during the afternoon. As a result nine teams, including East Carolina, did not complete their first round of the 36-hole event.

The second round will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday and all teams will use their same first-round tee times for the final round. Teams still on the course when play was suspended will restart their first round at 9:30 a.m.
