Men's Golf in Seventh at Coastal Carolina Invite

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. -- East Carolina's men's golf team sits in seventh place after 36 holes of the Coastal Carolina Invitational, played on Monday.

The Pirates posted a two-round total of 607 and trails leader UNC Wilmington by 18 strokes.

Calle Andren fired rounds of 76 and 74 to lead ECU and currently resides in a tie for 15th place. Jonathan Hill and Jason Harris are each one stroke behind to tie for 19th.

The 14-team tournament is the first college tournament ever held at the TPC of Myrtle Beach course, set for 6,920 yards and par 72.

The final round will start tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m., with the leaders going off the No. 1 tee at 9:30 a.m.
