GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina men's golf team posted a 36-hole total 574 and currently sits in first place at the Pirate Fall Intercollegiate. The tournament is being played at the par-72, 7,145-yard Bradford Creek Golf Course.

Sophomore Chris Ault (70-70=140) is in third place while junior Robin Smith (71-71=142) is two spots back tied for fifth.

The Pirates (15-28-1) placed all five golfers in the top 18 and currently lead second place Charleston Southern, Campbell and High Point by seven strokes.

In the individual portion of the event, Boston College's Robert Reed sits atop the leader board with a five-under 138, just one stroke ahead of Stuart Carrihill (Charleston Southern) and two ahead of ECU's Ault.

Pirate freshman Andre Thorsen (75-70=145) is tied for eleventh place, with Markus Leandersson (72-75=147) and Philip Reale (73-74=147) are tied for 18th.
