GREENVILLE, N.C. - The fall portion of the 2013-14 season draws to a close this week with the East Carolina men's golf team hosting the Pirate Intercollegiate at the Brook Valley Course at Greenville Country Club on Oct. 28-29. It's the first time ECU has hosted a tournament locally since 2009.

Over the course of two days, nine teams and 12 individuals will play 54 holes on the par-71, 6,656-yard course. The first two rounds of competition will be played Monday with shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament will then conclude Tuesday with tee times slated for 8 a.m.

In addition to the host Pirates, the field includes Barton, George Washington, Lipscomb, Navy, N.C. Central, Presbyterian and Towson. Four individuals from Charlotte and Duke will also be competing.

ECU's lineup will consist of seniors Ryan Eibner and Eric Brady along with sophomores Al Dickens, Wes Conover and George Kilgore. The Pirates will also field a `B' team with Stephen Lavenets, Jacob Hicks, Josh Chandler and Clay Brown.

The Pirates are returning to the links for the first time since finishing seventh at the Rod Myers Intercollegiate at the Duke Golf Club on Oct. 13. Brady posted the team's only top 10 finish of the season with a seventh-place finish at the event and was named Conference USA Golfer-of-the-Week for his performance.
