CHARLESTON, S.C. - Due to rainfall that lingered in the South Carolina low country for most of Friday afternoon, the conclusion of the men's tennis match between East Carolina and No. 71 College of Charleston was cancelled as was Saturday's match against Charlotte. The match against CofC will not be completed, while the contest against the 49ers will be made up at a date to be determined.

At the time of the suspension Friday, the Pirates were leading the Cougars 1-0 after doubles play. ECU picked up an 8-1 win on court one from the duo of Joran Vliegen and Colin Roller and court two from Mario Martinez and Fredric Lehfeldt to take the early advantage.

Play was then called shortly before the beginning of singles play at Patriots Point.
