Men's Tennis Falls To Tulane In Quartefinals

Memphis, Tenn. --- Tulane eased past East Carolina in the quarterfinal round on Friday with a score of 4-0. The Green Wave claimed the doubles point after taking the second and third flights with scores of 8-2 and 8-4, respectively. The ECU women's team was also blanked by Southern Miss in the consolation bracket.

Ted Angelinos topped Darren Mansell in No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-0), while Jacobo Hernandez defeated Mark Gellard in the fifth spot with scores of 6-1, 6-0. Alberto Sottocorno chipped in for the Green Wave, recording a 6-3, 6-2 win in No. 6 singles. Tulane will face Memphis in the semifinals on Saturday at the HPER Courts at Noon.
