GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The East Carolina men's tennis team will host the 2012 ECU Fall Shootout this weekend (Sept. 14-16) at the River Birch Tennis Center. The Pirates will compete against players from James Madison and Richmond with matches beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday and concluding Sunday morning. Play gets underway Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

"Once again we are very grateful to the city of Greenville for the use of this outstanding tennis facility over the weekend," Pirate head coach Shawn Heinchon said.

"The guys are really looking forward to competing against this field. Some of them didn't play as well as they would've liked to last weekend in Wilmington and are eager to get back on the court."

Each team will compete in both singles and doubles this weekend. All matches will be eight-game pro sets for doubles and a super-tiebreaker for the third set in singles matches.
