BOSTON -- Several members of East Carolina University's women's indoor track team turned in solid performances Sunday as the Lady Pirates finished up the final day at the ECAC Indoor Championships in Boston.

ECU's Shirena James and Terri Davenport each gained top-10 finishes in their respective events and the Lady Pirates placed 29th overall among the 48 teams competing.

James, who qualified for the finals of two events yesterday, made a strong showing in both on Sunday. She placed sixth in both the 60-meter dash (7.65) and the 200m (24.85). Both times were season-bests for James.

Davenport, meanwhile, placed just behind James in the 200m in seventh place (25.03).

In addition, ECU's distance medley team, comprised of Davenport, Tara DeBrielle, Kim Lash, and Kay Livick, placed ninth among 15 teams with a time of 11:48.76.
