About the Pirates: East Carolina has managed to win four of its last five games and has started off 2-0 in Conference USA play for the second straight season. Last Sunday, the Pirates (6-9, 2-0) finished up a five game stretch that lasted 11 days by defeating Virginia Commonwealth, N.C. A&T, Memphis and Saint Louis, with its lone loss coming to Buffalo, 48-50. In C-USA action, senior Jennifer Jackson led both games in scoring with 18 against Memphis and 19 versus Saint Louis. The Pirates averaged 10 more rebounds per contest than their counter-parts (45-35). Jackson has averaged 20.2 points and connected on 33 percent of her shots (35-of-105) in the last five games. Against Stephen F. Austin in the first round of the Lady Pirate Invitational, Jackson netted a career-best 34 points, hitting 13-of-21 shots from the floor.

Sutton, a 6-0 forward, is the only other Pirate to average double-figures with her 11.3 points per game. She ranks second in rebounds, pulling down 5.9 per contest.
