Jackson Becomes Lady Pirates' First All C-USA Pick

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- East Carolina sophomore guard Jennifer Jackson has been named as a third-team All-Conference USA selection, the league office announced on Wednesday. Jackson becomes the first ECU women's basketball player to receive postseason honors from C-USA.

Jackson, a native of Farmville, Va., leads the Lady Pirates in both scoring (17.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.6 rpg) this season and has helped ECU to a 12-15 overall record and its first-ever berth in the C-USA Tournament.

She has averaged 19.8 points against conference opponents, which ranks second-best in the league. 2003 CONFERENCE USA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL AWARD WINNERS
