IRVING, Texas - East Carolina's Jada Payne, Abria Trice and Ondrea Shaw were named to Conference USA's All-Conference teams as announced by the league on Sunday. Payne, a redshirt sophomore, was the only underclassman to earn First Team honors, while Trice collected Second Team accolades and Shaw was named to the All-Defensive Team.

Payne earned First Team All-Conference USA honors after averaging a team-best 18.8 points per game which is good for sixth in the league. The 6-foot-2 forward also led the Pirates with 7.4 rebounds per game to rank 10th in the conference. She is second on East Carolina with 40 steals, while adding 50 assists and five blocks. Her three-point field goal percentage (.399) ranks third in C-USA and in the top 50 in the nation, while her free throw percentage (.840) is also third in the league. She averages 3.2 offensive rebounds to tie for ninth in the conference, while her defensive rebounds average of 4.2 ties for 13th.

Trice finished the regular season as the Pirates' second leading scorer with 15.2 points per game which ranks in the top 10 in Conference USA. The redshirt junior guard collected Second Team All-Conference accolades after leading East Carolina with 49 steals for an average of 1.7 per contest which ties for 12th in the league. She has also contributed 4.8 rebounds per game, 37 assists and 16 blocks. She is shooting 82.4-percent from the free throw line which ranks her fourth in the conference. This season, Trice has led ECU in scoring on seven occasions and has recorded 21 double-figure scoring games and eight 20-point performances.

Shaw garnered All-Defensive Team honors after breaking the East Carolina single-season blocking record with 98 total blocks. She shattered a record that was set during the 1977-78 season after tallying six blocks in the Pirates' final regular season game of the year. Shaw averages a league-leading 3.4 blocks per game which is good for eighth in the nation. Additionally, she is second on the team in rebounding as she averages 6.9 boards per game, while adding 3.1 points per game, 33 steals and 15 assists. Shaw has been a key component to the ECU defense that has limited opponents to just 26.6-percent shooting from three-point range as that mark leads C-USA and ranks 10th in the NCAA. She has also helped the Pirates hold opponents to 36-percent shooting from the field which ranks in the top 25 in the nation. Shaw has been a major contributer to East Carolina's 5.4 blocks per game which leads Conference USA and ranks 13th in the nation.
