GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University women's basketball team knows its dance partner, as the Lady Pirates were tabbed the No. 13 seed in the Greensboro Regional and will take on No. 4 seed Rutgers in East Lansing, Mich., Sunday, March 18 at 9:30 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2 and ESPNU.

The winner of that game will advance to take on the winner of the #5 Michigan State/#12 Delaware contest, which will be played at 7:00 p.m., prior to the ECU/Rutgers game. The second round matchup is slated for Tuesday, March 20.

Rutgers earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with its 55-47 win over Connecticut to win their first-ever Big East Championship. The Lady Pirates earned their first-ever Conference USA Championship with their 79-70 win over Rice.

East Carolina is making its second trip to the NCAA Tournament, and its first since 1982.
