GREENVILLE, S.C. - East Carolina women's basketball head coach Heather Macy, along with Assistant Athletics Director for Strength and Conditioning Jeff Connors, will serve as featured speakers at the 2012 South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association All Sports Clinic - scheduled for July 23-25 at the TD Convention Center.

Macy and Connors will present on Monday, the first day of the event, with Connors starting at 10 a.m. Macy will then follow with a two-part presentation on her tempo control philosophy beginning at 1 p.m. Frank Martin, the new men's basketball head coach at South Carolina, will also speak on Monday.

A highly regarded clinician, Macy is a regular presenter at Nike Basketball Championship Clinics as she has spoken at events in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cleveland, Ohio, Wisconsin Dells, Wisc., Orlando, Fla., and Las Vegas, Nev. Of all the clinics held nationwide, the Las Vegas venue serves as the most prestigious and is regarded as the largest basketball clinic in the world.

The Pirates won six of their last eight games to end the 2011-12 campaign and return all but two players from the squad. Macy will also welcome the services of three players with prior collegiate basketball experience - two of which hail from ACC institutions in guards Kyani White (Virginia Tech) and Whitny Edwards (Virginia).
