Jessica Hauser enters her second year as a graduate assistant where she travels and assists Kevin Williams in all facets of the golf program ... She has been a member of three NCAA Regional teams (2005, 2006 and 2008) ... Helped the Pirates claim the 2006 Conference USA Championship ... Earned four varsity letters ... Currently working toward masters in health communications and is expected to graduate in Dec. of 2008 ... Received BA in communications (public relations) with a minor in sports studies in May of 2007 ... Three-time National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) Scholar All-American ... Three-time recipient of the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal, four-time C USA Commissioner's Honor Roll winner and was named to the ECU Director of Athletics Honor Roll for eight consecutive semesters (seven on Dean's List and once on Chancellor's List) ... Member of the 2005-06 team that received the C-USA Sports Academic Award ... Participated in 34 career events (97 rounds) posting a 79.80 stroke average, which ranks 10th best in school history ... Best finish came during senior campaign where she finished tied for seventh at the 2007 Papa John's Intercollegiate with after carding a 54-hole score of 231 ... As a freshman recorded a share of ninth place at the Louisville Cardinal Cup with a score of 237 ... During sophomore season participated in 10-of-11 events with a 79.10 stroke average and a 237.3 tournament average ... Claimed a team-high 19th place finish at the Pinehurst Challenge where she also recorded a career-low round of 73 ... Turned in a career-best 54-hole score of 226 at the Taco Bell Intercollegiate in the Fall of 2004 ... Lone top-20 finish as a junior came at the 2006 C-USA Championships (t-20th) ... Played in all 10 events ... Tied career-low score of 73 at the C-USA Championships ... In high school was a four-year letter winner at South Stokes ... Rated the No. 1 junior golfer by the Carolina Golfer's Association in 2001 and 2002 ... Qualified for the 2002 U.S. Junior Girls Team ... Won seven junior golf tournaments: 2002 N.C. Junior Championship, 2002 N.C. Independent Insurance Agent Junior Championship, 2002 and 2003 Eastern Junior Golf Association Tour Championships, 2002 and 2003 Ballantyne Resort Junior Championships, and the N.C. High School West Regional Championships (NCHSSA).
