Round 2 Results Get Acrobat Reader

WEST POINT, Miss. - After 36 holes at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational, East Carolina remains in second place after posting a 2-over par 290. The three-day, 54-hole event is being held at the Old Waverly Golf Club, home of the 1999 U.S. Women's Open.

The Pirates (579) are 10 shots behind host institution Mississippi State (569), who shot an even round 288. Florida International and Georgia State are tied for third at 591 (15-over), while East Tennessee State (594/18-over) sits in fifth.

Junior Katie Kirk (141/3-under) moved into third place following a 2-under 70 (33-37), which consisted of five birdies (three on the front nine) and sits two shots behind tournament leader Jessica Peng (5-under/139) from Mississippi State.

Sophomore Nicoline Engstroem Skaug (142/2-under) carded an even round 72 (35-37) and is currently one shot behind Kirk in fourth place. Classmate Frida Gustafsson Spang (147/3-over) moved up nine spots after her even round of 72 (39-33) and is tied for 13th.

Rounding out the Pirates roster are senior Fanny Wolte (41-28=79) and junior Emily Eng (38-38=76) who are tied for 28th at 8-over par (152).
