GREENSBORO, N.C. - The East Carolina women's golf team fired an opening round 305 and currently sit in fourth place at the Bryan National Collegiate Championships, which is being played at the Bryan Park Golf Course.

Abby Bools leads the Pirates with an opening round score of 75 and currently sits in a tie for seventh place, five shots out of second. Sophomore Amber Littman is tied for 18th after carding a round of 76, while Colleen Estes (77) and Ana Maria Puche (77) hold a share of 25th place and Amy Otteson (90) is tied for 95.

LSU leads the tournament after an impressive opening round of 290 (two-over par) and holds a 14 stroke advantage over Virginia (304) and Wake Forest (304). Rounding out the top five are ECU (305) and Louisville (306) both ahead of North Carolina (307).
