GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina Head Women's Golf Coach Kevin Williams has announced that Emily Eng has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf for the Pirates. Eng will join early signees Katie Kirk and Devan Murphy as incoming freshmen for the 2011-12 season.

"Emily is a wonderful addition to our 2011 recruiting class," Williams said. "Emily along with Katie and Devan will make a huge impact on our program, academically and athletically."

Claimed tournament titles at the Omaha Pro-Am and Waikato Under 19 Age Group ... Finished third in the South Island Amateur ... Quarter-finalist in the New Zealand Amateur Match Play ... Recorded a 13th place finish in the New Zealand Women's Stroke Play ... Captained the Auckland team to win the Toro New Zealand Women's Interprovincial.
