Kiawah Island, S.C. - Heidi Helliesen shot a four-over par 76 (36-40) and sits in a tie for 16th place after the first round of the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate being held this week at Oak Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. Campbell shot a 301 to take the lead, with Coastal Carolina following in second with a 303. ECU totaled a 315 for a share of 11th place.

Lene Krog and Emelie Lind each carded rounds of 79 and are tied for 43rd, while Jamie Quinn and Jessica Hauser are sitting in a tie for 57th with rounds of 81.

The tournament's second round, which started this afternoon with the first nine holes, will conclude with a shotgun start at 8:15 AM Tuesday. The third and final round will begin immediately after that.
