GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina's Amber Littman was named Conference USA Golfer-of-the-Week for the second time in three weeks after claiming individual medalist honors at the UAB Beach Bash league officials announced Wednesday.

The Stoney Creek, N.C. native recorded her third top three finish and fourth top 20 placement in five tournaments when she took home her first collegiate title after carding a one-over par 145 (70-75).

For the second event in a row, the freshman tied her personal-best round of 70 coming on day one. She ranked first in the field par-5 scoring (-5), carded the event's only eagle on hole No. 9, ranked third in total birdies with eight and was 11th in par-4 scoring (+4).

Littman helped No. 22 ECU (59-14-0) to its fourth team title in five fall events, a school record, with a team score of 589 (291-298). The Pirates led the event wire-to-wire for the second consecutive event and carded an opening round of 291, which ranks as the sixth lowest team 18-hole score.

This is the second weekly honor for Littman (Oct. 31) and she is the third Lady Pirate to be named C-USA Golfer-of-the-Week following Abby Bools (Sept. 26) and Emelie Lind (Oct. 17).

The Pirates will hit the links again on February 17, 2008 when they travel south to Miami, Fla. to participate in the Papa John's Intercollegiate.
