Lindsi Troxler enters her fourth overall season at East Carolina and her first as a coach after spending the previous three seasons as the Pirates goalkeeper. The Brown Summit, N.C. native started 22 of 28 games played while posting a 7-8-6 overall record. As a sophomore she recorded the first of four career shutouts in her Pirate debut against UNC-Wilmington (Sept. 5, 2003). She finished the season with a 5-6-5 record, 70 saves and a .787 save percentage.
Despite having her junior and senior campaign's cut short due to injury, Troxler still managed to play in ten games with five starts, recorded 32 saves, posted a 1.92 goals against average (GAA) and has a save percentage of .744. Troxler left the Pirate program with her name etched in the record book. Her 1.10 goals against average as a sophomore set a single-season record, while her 1.30 career GAA is a school record. She also ranks sixth on the single-season charts in minutes played (1554 in 2003) and on the career charts ranks third in saves per game (3.78) and keeper minutes (2069), and sixth in saves (114).
Off the field, Troxler has excelled in the classroom being named to the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll three-times (2003- 05) and earning ECU Director of Athletics Dean's List honors every semester since the fall of 2003.
