BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The East Carolina women's soccer team improved to 3-1 in its spring scrimmage season by defeating Campbell, 2-1, on Wednesday.

Freshman Meghan McCallion (Bay Shore, N.Y.) scored her sixth goal of the spring to give ECU a 1-0 lead. Sophomore Jennifer Leonard (Virginia Beach, Va.) put in the game-winning goal with three minutes left in the game.

The Pirates will conclude their spring schedule by taking on a group of ECU alumni players on Saturday, April 26, at 2:45 p.m. at ECU's Bunting Field.
