Both ECU and Houston enter this weekend's action with 0-1-1 records on their most recent road trips. The Pirates lost a hard fought match Friday at Memphis, 2-0 and picked up a point in the league standings with a 1-1 tie against UAB. Amanda Malkiewicz netted the Pirates lone goal of the weekend, her fifth of the year, when she scored in the 22nd minute of the first period on a put back.
The Cougars lost a close match Friday to No. 19 UCF 1-2. Houston was able to get a draw on the road at Southern Miss on Sunday when Kaci Bush scored her first career goal off a corner kick to earn the point for Houston.
