GREENVILLE, N.C. -- East Carolina and DePaul played two scoreless regulation periods and two overtimes before settling for a 0-0 tie Sunday afternoon in a Conference USA women's soccer match at Bunting Field.

The Pirates totaled 11 shots on goal and DePaul had 14 shots. While both teams were able to get shots off, they were unable to get one to fall. ECU's Meghan McCallion had six attempts for the day.

A physical game, DePaul had 15 fouls and ECU totaled 14. Defensively, Michelle Kmiotek had seven saves for the Pirates.

"We just couldn't get it together," Head Coach Rob Donnenwirth said. "They played like they needed a win. We played like we wanted to win. That's the difference."

The Pirates host UNC Wilmington Wednesday, October 30 at 2 p.m. at Bunting Field.
