Named to the all-state squad as a senior after recording the highest batting average (.506) and hitting the most home runs (six) in the 15-year history of the school ... As a sophomore, was a 4A all-district and all-state honoree and helped the team to the conference championship and a third-place showing in the NCHSAA 4A state championship after claiming the NCHSAA east regional title ...
