Senior Kristi and freshman Kacie make impacts for Pirates in 2014
2015 (Sophomore): Played in 43 games with 42 starts … Made 19 starts in right field and 13 as the designated player … Tallied a team second-best .279 batting average with 38 hits, 15 runs scored, six doubles, a triple, a home run and 20 RBI … One of just four qualified players in the league to sport a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage … Tied for the team lead with 11 multiple-hit efforts … Enjoyed a seven-game hitting streak that spanned Feb. 21-March 1 … Notched a season-high four RBI off of three hits and a double against East Tennessee State (Feb. 14) … Recorded three hits and scored two runs versus Maine (Feb. 27) … Clubbed a home run against No. 23 James Madison (April 15).
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in eight games and made three starts … Hit .231 (3-for-13) with one run scored and one RBI during her rookie campaign … Made her first-career start as the left fielder and recorded her first-collegiate hit in a 1-for-2 performance against Nevada (Feb. 9) … Went 1-for-3 with a run scored against Drexel (Feb. 16) … Pinch-hit against UAB (March 8) … Started in right field and batted 1-for-2 in the second game of a doubleheader at FIU (March 29) … Had an RBI groundout in her only at-bat and subbed in as the right fielder in a 7-0 win at Louisiana Tech (April 26).
High School: Lettered four years under head coach Rose Antonio...Played club ball for Po'okela, the Guava Jam and the Hawai'i Diamonds...Earned all-state recognition all four years in high school...Three-time All-OIA First Team honoree...Recorded a 10-0 record and earned First Team All-OIA and Third Team All-State honors as a senior.
