2014 (Sophomore): Made 20 appearances and 15 starts in her second season … Hit .192 (10-for-52) with two home runs and seven RBI … Tallied a RBI single against Seton Hall (Feb. 16) … Had an RBI single in the first inning against Drexel (Feb. 16) … Went 1-for-3 with a single against Albany (Feb. 21) … Singled against 19th-ranked South Alabama (Feb. 21) … Had a pinch-hit walk-off RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning in game two of a doubleheader sweep over Tennessee Tech (March 1) … Started at catcher and recorded a career-high 10 putouts against Tennessee Tech (March 2) … Hit her first home run of the season – a solo shot – in a 7-1 series-clinching victory over UAB (March 9) … Belted a game-tying two-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning in the second game of a doubleheader against Eastern Illinois (March 11) … Had one hit in each game, including an RBI single in game two of a doubleheader sweep at Charlotte (March 15) … Entered the game as a catcher and drew a walk in one plate appearance in a 7-0 win at Louisiana Tech (April 26).

Followed it up with a sixth-inning game-winning home run in the final game against the Tigers (April 21) ... Picked up a base hit against Marshall in the Conference USA Tournament (May 9).

High School: A four-year letterwinner and a three-time First-Team All-Empire League selection for Valencia High School ... In her final year with the Tigers, she hit .519, slugged .790, drove in 28 runs and tallied six home runs and was selected to play in the Orange County Coaches All-Star Softball Game ... Served as the team captain as a senior ... As a junior, finished third in the league in batting average ( .414) and hits and was named best defensive player while helping her team to a 21-9 overall record ... The Tigers qualified for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division I Southern Section playoffs in her junior season ... As a sophomore, she was selected as the most valuable player of the Savanna High School Tournament and was tabbed Orange County Register Player-of-the-Week for her efforts when she went 5-for-7 with a home run and six RBI to aid her team to the title ... The team ended the year 24-6 with an 8-2 mark in league action and earned a spot in CIF playoffs with Briggs hitting .355 ... As a freshman, she hit .432 with 16 runs batted in and 13 scored to earn a place on the OCVarsity.com All-Freshman Team in addition to being named the squad's top newcomer ... Also letter for a year as a libero in volleyball ... In the classroom as a senior, earned a place on the Principal's Honor Roll and received the Valencia Scholar Athlete Award ... Gained additional softball experience playing for the Strike Force, California Raiders, Victory USA and American Stars summer travel programs.
