How did you get started in softball? I started playing for a co-ed church league when I was four years old.

What are some of your routines on game day or during games? Listen to music

What is your favorite softball memory? Winning a national championship in a dirty uniform in Utah

If you could change one thing about softball, what would it be and why? I would want softball to still be in the Olympics or for there to be more pro teams. A lot of girls around the U.S. are talented enough to make it their own career like men do for baseball.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to young girls who want to play? Never give up on the game that you love. There will always be bumps in the road that make you a better person. You just have to push through the tough times and great things will come along.

I wear my uniform number because: I like single-digit numbers and it’s the number I wore in high school and at Chattanooga State.

One thing about you that would surprise most people reading this: I hate long-distance running

I can’t imagine going a week without: My phone

Actress who should play me on the big screen: Hayden Panettiere or Melissa McCarthy

Song I sing in the shower: Any Beyonce song

I wish I: Could sing!

Award I would most like to win: Grammy

If I were a Pirate, my name would be: Patchy

If I could be a character in a movie or a T.V. show, it would be: Channing Tatum’s wife

The first thing I owned that said “ECU” was: Koozie

The movie about my life would be titled: Project S!

The best birthday present you ever received was: My car
