GREENVILLE, N.C. - Wednesday's East Carolina softball doubleheader against Elon at East Field in Elon, N.C., has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 16, due to poor field conditions following inclement weather over the weekend. A single contest is now scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on the 16th.

After having over a week off, the Pirates will return to the field Saturday for the beginning of Conference USA play when preseason favorite Houston comes to Greenville for a three-game series. The teams will play two games Saturday and one Sunday, with both days' action starting at noon.
