GREENVILLE, N.C. - Due to the threat of inclement weather in Greenville this weekend, the schedule for the East Carolina softball team's series with Marshall has been changed.

The squads will attempt to play a single game on Saturday with the first pitch scheduled for 9:30 a.m. The series will then close on Sunday with a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. All contests will take place at the ECU Softball Field.

The Pirates, winners over No. 16 North Carolina on Wednesday, enter the series with an overall record of 25-16 and a 5-4 mark in conference play while the Herd arrives in Greenville sporting a 14-23 overall record and a 4-7 mark in C-USA action.
