Kate Gordon, one of the most decorated swimmers in Pirate history, joins the coaching staff this season as a student assistant coach. Gordon completed her eligibility last season after earning four varsity letters. She currently holds the second fastest times in ECU history in both the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events. She also ranks among the top five in the 200 and 400 IM. A NCAA qualifier and all-conference performer, Gordon is currently pursuing a degree in physical education.
