Several Pirates won their respective flights over the weekend

Fall 2012: Won four of nine singles matches during the fall tourney season ... Captured first collegiate flight title with a 2-0 mark at the Charlotte Invitational on Oct. 13-14 ... Also competed in two doubles matches with Karling Watson (0-2).

2011-12: Won only official match played during the spring campaign by defeating Barton's Francesca Del Pozo 6-1, 6-2 ... Also led Carla Avilla (Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras) 6-1 before the match was halted ... Split four doubles meetings, teaming with Watson (1-2) on three occasions and Dana Gray once (1-0) ... Won both matches by an identical 8-1 scores (vs. PR-RP and BC) ... Played in six overall matches in an abbreviated fall schedule, which included Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional competition ... Was winless in three singles events and tallied a similar mark in doubles play.
