Her overall conditioning and footwork have improved, and presently, Karling is developing into a very competitive collegiate player. Fall 2013: Competed in just two fall singles matches and collected victories in both ... Defeated N.C. Central's Mia Ramic, 6-2, 6-4, at the ECU Invitational on Oct. 4 ... Recorded a 3-1 doubles record with four different teammates ... Played all four matches at the ECU Invitational against N.C. Central and Norfolk State ... Outlasted N.C. Central's Mia Ramic and Tamara Jeremic, 8-1, with Scarlett Walston and 8-4 with Maria Storozheva.

2012-13: Competed in just two dual singles matches during the spring season, posting a 1-1 record ... Defeated N.C. A&T's Chloe McSwain, 6-0,6-0, on Feb. 9 .. Picked up victories in her only two doubles matches, winning both by 8-2 scores and paired with Vanessa Fuleihan at the No. 3 spot in the lineup ... Played a full fall tourney schedule for the first time in her career, compiling a 4-5 singles record and a combined 1-5 doubles mark ... Partnered with Abby Richmond on four occasions (1-3) and with Vanessa Fuleihan twice ... Notched first pair of singles triumphs of season at the Appalachian State Invitational before following with a 2-0 ledger at the ECU Invitational ... 2011-12:Officially made ECU debut by tallying a perfect 3-0 singles mark during spring dual match play (1-0 at No. 5 and 2-0 at No. 6) ... Defeated Joanna Ortiz (Puerto Rico-Mayaguez) 6-3, 6-1 for first collegiate win and later added 6-3, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-2 decisions over Patricia Guedes (Mount Olive) and Lindsay Toth (Barton), respectively ...
