Whitney Campbell Ties Career High With 12 Kills

2011: Played in the most sets (96 of 98) of any player on the roster and was one of only two members of the squad to experience action in every set in league play ... Earned 23 starts, including the last 17 contests of the season ... Ranked third on the team in kills (150) and tied for third in total blocks (43) ... Racked up four double-digit kill performances and matched her career high with 12 at Rice (11/6) ... Set career highs with 11 digs against UTEP (10/2) and two service aces versus Tulsa (10/23) ... Put down 10 kills in consecutive matches against Houston (10/8 and 10/9) ... Enjoyed a solid weekend at Rice, combining for 18 kills on 40 attempts with just one error in the two matches for a .425 hitting mark ... Tallied four blocks in the season-opening victory over Gardner-Webb (8/26).

2010: Played in 29 of the Pirates' 32 matches (86 sets total), the most of any freshman on the squad ... Finished fourth on the team in kills (137) and kills pet set (1.59) as well as tied for third in solo blocks (5) and fourth in points (158.5) ... Earned a starting role in the first four matches of the season and 12 overall ... Recorded a season-high 12 kills in the 3-2 victory against Marshall (11/24) ... Distributed two assists vs. Rutgers (9/3) ... Racked up nine digs in the home match against Cleveland State (8/28) ... Picked up five total blocks (assists) in the five-set triumph over Binghamton (9/18) ... Scotland County High School: Helped the Scotsman to a 93-7 record in her four seasons with the team ...
