Pirate Volleyball Heads to Marshall for Friday Contest

East Carolina and Marshall will meet for the 17th time in program history Friday at 6 p.m.

2012: Saw action in 44 sets and 19 matches with two starts...Registered 168 assists to average 3.82 per set, 24 digs, 23 total blocks and eight kills...Second on the team in assists...Ranks 10 th in the ECU career record book with 1,188 assists...Recorded a season-high 32 assists and six total blocks versus Marshall (9/13)...Led the Pirates in assists on five occasions.

2011: Played in 25 matches and 77 sets, splitting time at setter and as an outside hitter...Earned 17 starts, including the final seven matches of the season...Finished the season ranked second on the squad in assists and assists per set as well as tied for second in total blocks and third in blocks per set...Notched double-doubles against Charleston Southern (9/10) and at UCF (11/13)...Set a career best with 11 digs as part of her double-double performance at UCF (24 assists)...Racked up a season-best 37 assists against Long Island (9/2)...Notched two service aces in the season-opening win over Gardner-Webb (8/26) and versus NC State (9/10)...Hit .364 in her final five matches of the campaign, putting down 13 kills on 33 attempts with just one error.

2010: Played in 28 matches and 93 sets...Missed four of the first five matches of the season with a hand injury but started 26-straight contests through the year's end at the setter position...Led the team with 677 assists...Tallied her first career double-double in the home finale against Marshall (11/24), dishing out 41 assists and picking up 10 digs to lead the Pirates to a 3-2 victory...Handed out at least 41 assists in four matches with her season high occurring vs. Binghamton (9/18) with 46...Tallied six kills in matches at UAB (10/1) and at home against Rice (10/29)...Racked up five-plus blocks three times, including seven vs. the Bearcats...Produced 10 points (six kills, three solo blocks and two block assists) against the Owls...Hit a personal campaign-best .600 at Georgetown (9/18) with three kills on five attempts and no errors.

Chugiak High School: Led the Mustangs to a 40-15 record in three seasons, including an appearance in the 2008 Alaska 4A state championship game as well as a Cook Inlet Conference and region championship in 2009...In 2007, earned Chugiak's Rookie-of-the-Year, Most Promising and Most Inspirational awards before being named best setter in the state in 2008...Picked up a pair of first-team all-conference and all-state accolades in 2008 and 2009...Served as a post player for the Mustang basketball team for two seasons, earning two varsity letters and helping her team to the 2008-09 conference, region and state championships...Earned valuable experience in the USA Volleyball program at the Select A2, Youth Holiday and Junior Holiday High Performance camps as well as the Youth A2 and Continental Team Championship Tournaments.
