Eve Rackham is in her third season as an assistant volleyball coach at East Carolina University. She joined the ECU coaching staff prior to the 2005 season.

Rackham came to ECU with two years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, high school and club levels. Most recently, Rackham served as the first assistant volleyball coach at Colgate University in 2004. Prior to that, Rackham was the head volleyball coach of the junior varsity team at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, Calif., which finished a perfect 14-0 in league play in 2003. She also turned in a tenure as head coach of the 16-under Empire Volleyball Club.

A 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Rackham was a four-year starting setter for the Tar Heels. She currently ranks first all-time at UNC in assists per game and was selected to the First-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference squad as a senior in 2002. The journalism and mass communication major was also named to the 2000 and 2002 ACC All-Tournament teams.

In her four years at North Carolina, the Tar Heels claimed three ACC Conference Tournament Championships, one regular season title and four straight NCAA tournament appearances -- including a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in 2002.

While at North Carolina, Rackham helped lead the Tar Heels to a four-year record of 115-22 (.839) from 1999-2002.

She has also served as a summer camp coach at UNC from 2000-03 and at Sonoma State (Calif.) in 2000.
