2009 BOWL SELECTION: AutoZone Liberty Bowl | Jan. 2, 2010 | 4:30pm CT/5:30pm ET | Memphis, Tenn.
The University of Arkansas will play East Carolina University in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl game on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 4:30 PM (Central Time). The game will be televised on ESPN.

Both Arkansas (7-5) and East Carolina (9-4) will be making their fourth apperances in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, but the first between the two teams.

TICKET ASSIGNMENT
All seating will be assigned using the Pirate Club priority point system. The priority deadline is Wednesday, December 16th at 5:00pm for Pirate Club members. Any orders received AFTER the deadline will be assigned on a first-ordered, first-served basis.

When ordering online, Pirate Club members must log in first and then place your order, to ensure you receive seating based on your priority. Tickets are also available at the Athletic Ticket Office and by phone at 252-737-4540. Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES BUS TRIP
Students can enjoy the Liberty Bowl with their fellow Pirates! The charter bus trip will depart Greenville on December 30th at 10:00pm and return from Memphis directly after the bowl game. Hotel accommodations (two night stay) will be at the Hyatt Place Memphis Primacy Parkway.

Price options are $175/person for a quad room, $210/person for a triple, and $225/person for a double. The fee includes your 2 night hotel accommodations, charges for transportation to and from Memphis, and a bowl game ticket provided by ECU Athletics. Each trip participant is responsible for meals and incidental expenses. Space is limited to the first 100 students and application and payments in full are due by Friday, December 18th. The Trip Reservation Application will be accepted at the Central Ticket Office in Mendenhall beginning Wednesday, December 9th at 12:00 pm until the deadline of Friday, December 18th.

Students planning to make their own travel arrangements may order their tickets through ECUPIRATES.COM.

Online orders may be made through AAACAROLINAS.COM. All travel packages will include the "Pre-Game Buffet" on Saturday, January 2nd mentioned below. In order to assure proper priority assignment, game tickets are not included in travel packages, and should be ordered separately through the Online Ticket Center.

TICKET DONATIONS
Pirates once again have the opportunity to donate tickets to the bowl game to others in need. Tickets are $50 and are on sale now. The first 100 donated will go to East Carolina's Student Life to be packages as part of the Student Activities Bus Trip opportunity for East Carolina students. Additional donations will be distributed amongst youth groups in the Memphis area, to be coordinated by the Liberty Bowl committee.
PIRATE PARTY!
Friday, January 1 | 3:00 PM The Pirate Club and East Carolina Alumni Association are hosting the official ECU fan party on Beale Street! Party entrance through the Rum Boogie Café takes you into the Pirate Party on Beale Street. The party will run through the King's Palace Café, Rum Boogie Café, Blues Hall and Beale Street Tap Room. Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door (no cash) and includes light appetizers and two Pirate beverage coupons. Cash bar and dinner will be available at the restaurants.
PRE-GAME BUFFET
Saturday, January 2 | 12-3:30 PM Featuring the "Battle of the Bands," this popular event at the Memphis Fairgrounds gives you all you can eat and drink while listening to the respective bands of the participating universities. Cost is $30. This buffet will be included in the travel packages offered by AAA Carolinas. MORE INFORMATION
