Purple Haze

The classic Jimi Hendrix tune is played prior to the start of every home football game as the Pirates take to the field through a cloud of purple smoke.

The team entrance was enhanced in 2006 with the addition of a wooden pirate ship that leads from the Murphy Center to the west end zone.
